Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church – Milwaukee, WI

Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church (MMBC) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is prayerfully seeking a Senior Pastor who is called by God to lead, teach, and shepherd His people. With a strong foundation of faith, a rich history of service, and a commitment to community outreach, MMBC is looking for a dynamic and visionary leader to guide our congregation into the future.

Established in 1937, MMBC has been a pillar in the Milwaukee community, dedicated to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, fostering spiritual growth, and serving those in need. We are a Bible-based, Jesus Christ-centered congregation seeking a pastor who embodies servant leadership, integrity, and a heart for discipleship.

 

Qualifications & Expectations:

The ideal candidate will:

Have a multi-generational approach
Be a licensed and ordained minister of the Gospel
Demonstrate evidence of a divine pastoral calling and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
Have strong biblical teaching and preaching skills
Exhibit leadership experience in pastoral ministry
Possess a heart for outreach, evangelism, and community engagement
Be a visionary leader with administrative and organizational skills
Effectively counsel, mentor, and support church members

 

Application Process:

Interested candidates should submit a complete application package, which includes:

• A completed application form

• A Letter of Intent/Interest (answering specified questions)

• A current resume

• Links to a recent sermon (within six months) and a biblical teaching session

• Three (3) letters of recommendation (Pastor, Clergy, Layperson)

• Three (3) professional references (no relatives)

• Proof of ordination or eligibility

• Proof of licensure
